Creates a batch with the provided workforce data and immediately starts processing it.
This endpoint allows you to submit a set of employee events (upserts and deletions) in a single request. Upon successful creation, the batch transitions to a processing state.
Typical use-cases:
- Quickly upload and process a set of employee records in one step.
- Perform both upsert and delete operations for workforce data in a single request.
The progress of the batch can be tracked using the returned batch_id.
